Burned for scoffing at the crazies

Jon Stewart made me burn cookies. Eighteen valuable cookies to take to school tomorrow for the last day. I say valuable because the cookie dough I made is very buttery and creating paper thin cookies that fall apart in the middle. Not many were salvageable. Luckily I had bagged up the cookies for the class and made a plate for the JABA people already. But damn you, Matt Taibi, for being so hilarious and sharing your stories of joining John Hagee's band of merry men (women and children) and vomiting of demons. "Actual demons, not metaphorical ones." Wit, open scoffing of crazies and making JS laugh put this kid high up on the crush-o-meter (find your latest YM magazine if you're unfamiliar with the term). He also had a cute smile.

Thank you, universe, however, for reminding me not to laugh at other people (even the ones vomiting up the demons of handwriting analysis). Eighteen burned cookies.

I've been singing this song for weeks. It's catchy. I wish the movie had been better. I like Drew Barrymore. Plus a good romantic comedy can leave me happy for days.

A fun song, however, is instant.

sweetly singing

It's 8 p.m.
The sun is out.
And I am ready for bed.

Sweet surrender to the end of school.
